The Four Steps
This Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice ("Notice") describes how David H. Rosmarin, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects "consumer health data" in connection with The Four Steps (the "App"). It supplements our Privacy Policy and applies in addition to it. We provide this Notice to comply with consumer-health-data laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar laws in other jurisdictions.
We provide this as a separate notice so that our health-data practices are easy to find. You can contact us about this Notice at info@dhrosmarin.com.
"Consumer health data" means personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to you and that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health status. For the App, this may include:
We collect consumer health data directly from you when you use the App — for example, when you complete an assessment, write messages, or choose to connect with a support service. We do not purchase consumer health data, and we do not collect it from sources other than your use of the App.
We use consumer health data only to:
We do not use consumer health data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
We share consumer health data only with service providers ("processors") that help us operate the App and that are permitted to use it solely to provide services to us. These include our database host, our artificial-intelligence provider (which processes your messages to generate responses), our application host, our authentication provider, and — if you opt in to messages — our messaging providers. Our Privacy Policy lists these providers, and we may add or change providers as needed to operate the App.
"Sell" means exchanging it for money or other valuable consideration. We do not sell your consumer health data. We will not share your consumer health data with any third party except: (a) with processors as described above; (b) with your consent or at your direction (for example, if you choose to connect with a support service); or (c) as required by law or to protect the rights or safety of users or others.
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@dhrosmarin.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. When you request deletion, we will delete your consumer health data from our records and direct our processors to do the same, except where we are permitted or required by law to retain it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
By using the App and providing the information described above, you consent to our collection and use of your consumer health data as described in this Notice. Where required by law, we obtain your affirmative, opt-in consent before collecting or sharing consumer health data, and separately before any sharing that would require it. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section 5; withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect consumer health data, and we retain it only as long as needed to provide the App or as required by law, as described further in our Privacy Policy. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Notice from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
